Henderson, KY (Jan. 25, 2024) – Hercules Manufacturing Company was purchased by Justin Wilson on January 1, 2024. Wilson, Henderson native and former Hercules employee of 10 years, is now President and CEO following the retirement of the previous owner, Jeffery A. Caddick.

(October 18, 2023) – In collaboration with Henderson County Schools and existing industries, Henderson Economic Development (HED) is hosting Manufacturing Academy for Students to celebrate Manufacturing Month. (September 26, 2023) – Henderson Economic Development (HED) received a 2023 Excellence Award in Economic Development Organization of the Year Silver Level from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The award was bestowed specifically for the organization’s work in the Economic Development Organization of the Year category for communities with 25,000 to 200,000 residents.

Henderson, Ky. (August 31, 2023) – Allstate Tower, Inc., an entity of Pittsburg Tank and Tower Group (PTTG), is investing in their facility with an $850,000 commitment to install a CLOOD Robotic Welder, adding 10 full-time jobs to their existing employee count.

Henderson, Ky. (June 29, 2023) – Today, Gov. Andy Beshear announced the West Kentucky Regional Industrial Development Authority’s (WKRIDA) approval for $1.4 million to complete a grading plan at the Sandy Lee Watkins site. The site is in 4-Star Industrial Park within the Henderson Economic Development (HED) region of northwest Kentucky.

HENDERSON, KY. (Feb. 14, 2023) – Henderson Economic Development (HED) announced Jagoe Homes’ plan to construct a new housing community on approximately 86 acres, building up to 300 homes with a $35 million investment.
